M Bank of  Armenia issued in circulation the following new banknotes: 500, 1.000, 5.000 & 20.000   Drams 1999/2000

 

M National Bank of the Republic of Belarus to 10th Anniversary of Since issued banknote 20 rublei 2000 with special overprinted in gold – NBRB 1991-2001. Banknote with picture of National Bank placed in special information cover. Also the note have add label. Print drawing – 5,500 copies.

 

M Chechenian Republic of Ichkeria printed new currency named NAHAR denominations from 1 to 1,000 ( 1, 3, 5, 10, 50, 100, 500 & 1,000) dated 1995 and were planned  to circulate from the beginning of 1995. However, this task not fulfilled because     of the Russia-Chechenya War.  All notes printed in England in 1994.  All notes bear the signatures of : Minister of the Economy and Finance of the Chechenian Republic  – Taimaz Abubakarov and Chairman of the National bank – Nazhmutdin Uvaisaev. ( from home page of one Chechenian collector ). Planned exchange rate 1 Nahar = 1 USD. Denomination each note marked as TUMAN.  Banknote in 1,000 have picture galloping horsemen on reverse and portrait of  National Hero - Sheih Mansur on averse. Banknotes printed in Great Britain and have 6 steps of security. Each have 7 digitalis # with one    letter and  wmk – wolf ( Russian newspaper “Taganskiy  bonist”, Moscow).  Russian Army destroyed all stock of Chechenian  money which stored in archives of Grozny State Bank when usurpation capital of Ichkeria more than 1,5 years ago. May be only few Russians soldiers have these banknotes who participated in this action and taken few notes so souvenir. Therefore Chechenian notes are rare. They are never not  seen on Russian numismatic markets before this day ( Russian magazine “Worldwide Collector”, St.Petersburg ).  

 

M Bank of Estonia issued in circulation from end of 1998 new coin - 10 Senti 1998. Coin 1 KROON 1998 which   made from yellow metal was issued in April 1998. Banknotes 1 & 2 Krooni more not will emitted in circulation as   and 1 Kroon 1993-95 coins old design. All 5 Senti coins will withdraw from circulation in 1999 and not will   circulated any more. The Bank of Estonia in May 1999 celebrated of the 80th  Anniversary of    establishment and issued new banknote – 100 krooni 1999, Collectors album with 100 Krooni 1999 in “Specimen”, new Coin set 1999 and also commemorative small gold coin - 1 ECU 1999. ( Information from Bank of Estonia ). The Bank of Estonia issued in circulation from 15 February 2000 new banknote - 500 krooni 2000.

 

M Soviet Ministers of Republic of Hakasia (placed in East Siberia about Tannu Tuva) issued in circulation only one payment certificate  5000 rubles which printed in 1996. 

 

M Bank of Kazakhstan issued in circulation new banknotes the following denominations -  200, 500 & 5,000 Tenge 1999

 

M  Bank of Kyrgyzstan issued in circulation new banknotes- 200 & 500 SOM 2000

 

M  Bank of Lithuania issued in circulation new banknotes - 100 & 500 LITU 2000

 

M Ministry of Finance of Republic Sakha - Yakutia  ( diamonds republic on the Russian Far East) issued in   circulation from July 1997 trade coupons the following denominations: 50.000, 100.000, 250.000 & 500.000   Rubles.  

 

M Russian Federation realized new banknote from Autumn 1998 - 5 Rubles 1997. Bank of Russia issued in  circulation from start of this year new banknote - 1,000 Rubles 1997-2000.

 

M Republic of Tajikistan. Currency reform from this Autumn. Issued in circulation exchange notes – 5, 10, 20 & 50 Dirami and banknotes – 1, 5, 10, 20, 50 & 100 Somoni 2000 will issue some late. Exchange rate: 1 Somoni = 1,000 Rubel 1994

 

M Republic of Transdniestra. Currency reform in December. Issued in circulation new banknotes – 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 Rubles 2000 & coins 1, 5, 10 & 50 Kopeks 2000. Exchange rate: 1 “New” Ruble = 1,000,000 “Old” Rubles 1994-99

M Bank of Turkmenistan issued in circulation new banknote high denominations - 5,000 Manat 1999 & 5,000 Manat 2000  

MPlaned independent Urals Republic in Russia (Ekaterinburg Region + 5 other regions) printed in 1991 year    1,300,000 banknotes named “URALS FRANCS”. Denominations: from 1 to 1,000. Printer: Perm State Printing    Factory “GOSZNAK”(where printed all Soviet & Russian notes). On each banknote printed one Russian Famous    Personality of culture, science or art has relation with Urals region. For simple, on 1,000 FRANCS  printed portrait of world famous composer Chaikovsky, which birth on Urals. Administration of Urals town Kamensk issued these money in December 1996 for payment of compensation for poor people. Urals Francs issued in circulation in Serov City for nourishment. 20 Francs note you can find on page 14. ( Russian private magazine of paper money “NumBon” ).  Already seems on numismatic markets in Russia few denominations of Urals Francs. But they are seldom seen as all printed stock strict keeping in archives of Ekaterinburg Branch of Russian State Bank. Full set including the following notes: 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 & 1.000 Franks 1991 are seldom.  As by information from Governor of Ekaterinburg Region Eduard Rossel all notes which saved in archives are destroyed.
